Description

B.Ed. stands for an undergraduate academic course known as Bachelor of Education. It is a course offered for those who are interested in pursuing career in teaching and related fields. While students from Arts stream are trained to teach subjects like History, Civics, Geography and Languages like Tamil English and French. Our's is the only college offering Teaching of French for the past years. The students from Science stream are trained to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

We are proud to say that our institution is the pioneer institute in the Union Territory of Pondicherry. Earlier it's duration was one year from 1986 to 2015. Now we have two year B.Ed programme since 2015. For the past 32 years we produce quality teachers to serve in and around Puducherry, all over India and abroad.

The B.Ed. degree course is mandatory for teaching in upper primary schools and high schools. National Council for Teacher Education is statutory body which regulates courses in teaching in India. We are affliated to Pondicherry University since the conception of our college.
